Current displays include a variety of fossils and minerals -- from Box Elder County, throughout Utah, and the world. We are proud to have the best display of trilobites in the western US. Other fossils on display document the history of the world for millions of years, and include dinosaurs, ancient horses and sharks, plants, insects. . . A spectacular dark gallery at the museum is dedicated to fluorescent minerals. While these may look boring under natural light, they fluoresce amazing colors under different spectrums of light. Other exhibits showcase a wide array of rocks and minerals, as well as the mining history of Box Elder County.
